Lady Gaga recently attended a date on Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour. Because the two pop stars talked backstage, rumors of collaborating on a song have started circulating.
Lady Gaga’s already collaborated with Beyoncé on “Telephone” and “Video Phone,” and Britney Spears has worked with Madonna. While the vocal abilities of these pop stars from past pairings are relatively similar, could a crossover, such as a collaboration between Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, be possible?
After the “Edge of Glory” singer attended the Atlantic City date of Spears’ Femme Fatale tour recently, rumors started that such a pairing is in the works. According to The Sun, an eyewitness backstage after Spears’ concert said: "They sat for around an hour gossiping and talking about collaborating together on a track. Gaga already has two songs in mind."
Gaga’s presence at the concert was no secret. Brit acknowledged her by stating "I have a very special guest here tonight, Lady Gaga is here!" and followed it by blowing a kiss. Spears, as well, attended Gaga’s Monster Ball tour in Los Angeles last year.
