Britney Spears bounced back into the Billboard singles top ten this week with a star-studded remix of her latest single “Till The World Ends.” Spears’ return to the top ten has been facilitated by Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, who are both featured on the new remix. “Till The World Ends” jumps from number 11 to three in the Hot 100 and the interest for Britney’s new song drove 236,000 downloads of the remixed single for a likewise respectable number three position on the Digital Songs chart.
Despite the buzz about Britney though, this week’s top spot remain in Katy Perry’s control as “E.T.,” featuring Kanye West, scores its fifth non-consecutive week atop the Hot 100 Charts. Perry likewise lords it over the Digital Songs chart with a whopping 300,000 downloads for a sixth straight week at number one.
Meanwhile, British singer-songwriter Adele retains her previous week’s position as “Rolling In The Deep” holds on to number two. Adele similarly holds the number two spot, just behind Katy Perry, on the Digital Songs chart by moving a little less than 300,000 units of “Rolling In The Deep.”
