Jamie Lynn Spears Goes Country!

After her performance Jamie Lynne apparently took to Twitter, thanking fans and friends.  “Just wanna thank all my amazing friends and family for coming out tonight!!!"  Meanwhile Lynne Spears told People Magazine that it was an “emotional night,” while Jamie Spears added “we are so proud of her.”  Since falling off the radar back in 2007, Jamie Lynn has been living in Nashville, Tennessee, with her now three year old daughter Maddie.

After leaving 'Zoey 101' due to her pregnancy with Casey Aldridge, the two have since split up with Jamie Lynn only seen in the media spotlight here and there.  Word on whether Jamie Lynn Spears plans to release her own country album isn’t clear.  The actress did dabble in music prior to her country debut, recording the theme song to Zoey, and singing 'Hey Now (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun)', a modified cover of Cyndi Lauper's classic, 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun', done by the pop trio, Triple Image," as pointed out by Billboard.
