It’s always nice when moving forward to a new marriage to have the
blessing and support from your ex, especially if there are children
involved with the previous relationship. In Britney Spears‘ case, her former hubby, Kevin Federline, is all for her marrying beau of two years, Jason Trawick.
“I’m really happy for her,” Federline tells Australia’s TV Week magazine (quotes via the Daily Mail).
“I think [Jason's] a great guy. She’s happy; she’s doing really well. I
want to say she’s in a good place. I haven’t spoken to her much since
I’ve been over here, both of us have been busy with her being on tour,
but I do know from talking to the kids and talking to the kids’ teachers
that they’re doing really good. [Marriage's] a good step in the right
direction. I’m totally happy for her.”
Federline and Spears’ two-year marriage came to an end in 2007, which
then led into a custody battle over their two sons, Sean, 6 and Jayden,
5. The two have since put their differences aside for the sake of their
sons.
Federline, who has two children from a previous relationship before
his marriage to Spears, recently welcomed his fifth child with his
girlfriend, Victoria Prince.
“It’s really good once you’re able to move on with life,” says
Federline. “Victoria’s the best person in the world. It took me going
through the things that I went through to find a person like her. She’s
more than I could ever have hoped for. Hopefully Britney feels the same
way.”
And how does Federline feel about Trawick becoming the step-father to
his two boys? “He’s a really good guy,” Federline praises. “I’ve heard a
lot about him. I’ve spoken to him quite a few times as of now. He seems
like a really good guy. The kids speak highly of him [and] her family
